Yoltra Design System 0.3 release notes

#0.3.0 (2026-08-19)

#@yoltra/ds

Features

  • Builds every published bundle for es2022 instead of es2019 or es2020. Class fields now emit natively rather than through a downlevel helper: @yoltra/core alone carried 55 __publicField calls plus a helper preamble that every consumer paid for on every import. { createStore } drops from 9.3 KB to 9.1 KB minified and gzipped, the persistence and barrel imports and @yoltra/react each drop 0.1 KB, and @yoltra/ds's client barrel drops 0.1 KB. No source changed and the emitted declaration files are byte-identical, so behaviour, design and type inference are untouched. The floor this sets (Chrome 94, Safari 15.4, Firefox 93, all shipped by early 2022) is one the suite already required in practice: anything depending on core inherits core's target, so the lower numbers elsewhere advertised support the suite could not deliver.

Fixes

  • Trims the licence banner to package, version, copyright holder and licence. It previously restated the MIT terms in prose and pointed at the LICENSE file, which every tarball already ships through prepublishOnly, and core, react and ds carried two more lines than devtools-protocol and devtools-server did. @yoltra/core's { createStore } goes from 9.1 KB to 9.0 KB gated, @yoltra/react's barrel from 5.6 KB to 5.5 KB and 3.4 KB to 3.3 KB shipped, and @yoltra/ds's barrel from 5.4 KB to 5.3 KB. Generates the published size table in this package's README instead of maintaining it by hand. rushx size:write rewrites it in both languages and rushx size fails when the committed table stops matching the measurement, which previously only @yoltra/core did. A row measured from a secondary entry point now names it, so @yoltra/ds no longer produces two different rows both labelled "everything": its /client barrel and its main barrel are separate numbers and now read that way.
